Congratulations to Southeastern Mutual Insurance on celebrating 75 years in NB!
The company was formed on November 3rd 1938 at City Hall, then moved to Queen St and later had an office in Orange Hall for several years. In 1996, Southeastern Mutual Insurance made Riverview the home of their head office where they still remain, located at 378 Coverdale Road.

Local Wine Making Shop Has Brought Home 2 Gold Medals From The International Amateur Wine Competition
The team from THE GOOD GUYS BREW SHOPPE in Riverview won a Gold Medal with a 2010 Malbec and a second Gold Medal for 2009 Barbaresco.
In 2011 the team brough home a Gold Medal for a 2009 Meritage and a Silver Medal for a 2009 Hightail Cabernet Sauvignon.
The International Amateur Wine Competition was held from April 20-22, 2012, an amazing total of 4,318 different wines were judged at the Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont. This year's competition was once again the largest wine competition of its kind in the world. Entries arrived from hobby winemakers from all over the North America, as well as places like Malta, Spain, Iceland, Turkey and Australia. Over the course of three days, experienced judging panels worked through 803 flights, examining each wine using the UC-Davis 20-point wine scale evaluating appearance, aroma, taste, aftertaste and overall impression. Aerus Electrolux is awarded top store in North America
Russell Hayward and his team at Aerus Electrolux in Riverview recently won an award for top store in North America for the month of August. This is the second time that they have achieved this award in the past few years. They have also held top store honours in Canada 6 times over the past few years.
